Spy photographers managed to capture a camo-clad 7 hiding some of the newly updated exterior features.

If you look at the photographs closely beats by dre, you can see that BMW will add an LED strip above the headlights. The front bumper has been redesigned, and the turn signals now sit on the side mirrors. Out back, a revised rear bumper wraps up the exterior upgrades. As the camo tape eventually comes off, we expect to find more nuanced updates before a lightly re-skinned production version hits an upcoming auto show stage.

China says Q2 trade growth to stabilize at low le

BEIJING (Reuters) – China’s trade growth in the second quarter should stabilize at a “low level”, the Commerce Ministry said on Friday in a regular spring assessment of business conditions that cautioned tough times ahead.

Without predicting when trade flows would recover, the ministry said the world’s second-biggest economy still faced considerable headwinds and that price pressures were building despite slackening activity.

But it noted that the Chinese economy Windows Anytime Upgrade, which grew at its slowest annual pace in nearly three years at 8.1 percent in the first quarter, was supported by good fundamentals.

“There are some favorable factors to ensure steady growth in trade, but we should also note that the year of 2012 may be a quite challenging one for China’s trade,” the ministry said in its assessment, posted online.

“China’s external trade growth is likely to stabilize at a relatively low level in the second quarter.”

China has set a 10 percent growth rate for exports and imports in 2012, but both targets were missed in March, with imports expanding just 5.3 percent from a year earlier while exports grew 8.9 percent.

The ministry says it is confident of hitting its target.

Hurt by a recession in Europe and a patchy economic recovery in the United States – China’s two biggest trading partners -export sales growth has slumped to single-digit levels this year, a long way from growth of over 20 percent seen in 2010 and the first-half of 2011.

Worse, rising domestic labor costs and higher raw material prices are squeezing the competitiveness of Chinese exporters as well, the ministry said.

A separate survey released by China’s statistics agency showed the 159-million-strong migrant workforce saw an average salary increase of 21.2 percent in 2011 from a year earlier.

“China’s trade growth in 2012 will grow at a stable pace, which is expected to be lower than in 2011, and the trade balance will be further improved Cheap windows 7 key,” the ministry said.

It noted that global oil prices could climb on the back of geopolitical tensions in Iran and Syria.

“Uncertainties hanging over Syria and the unfolding Iran nuclear crisis could increase the risk of higher oil prices,” it said.

China posted a trade surplus of about $25 billion in the first quarter, accounting for just 1.4 percent of its gross domestic product, half last year’s proportion and well below the 10.1 percent seen in 2007.

But the country’s overall trade sector dragged on the economy in the first quarter, with net exports subtracting 0.8 percentage points from Chinese economic growth.

Remembering a Mother-in-Law Who Embodied Resilienc

It is only fitting that as this Mother’s Day rolls around, I stop to remember the person who raised and nurtured my husband to be the loving, humanitarian man that he is.

My mother-in-law was ahead of her time. If she had grown up in my generation, she would have been a highly successful business woman. I was always impressed with her pride in being a smart woman. There were a number of things that activated her to feel passionate and excited, the primary one being when women she knew would achieve and succeed. She always championed my drive to grow in my professional life, and often her support and cheer was far greater than that of my own peers or family. In a way, she got to live vicariously through my success and my rising position in the work world. From my own vantage point, I strongly sensed her angst at not being able to have more access to getting paid for what she was worth and gleaning respect that comes with compensation.

My mother-in-law was smart as a whip and, while frustrated and unhappy about the limitations placed on her by social norms of gender inequality, she took on the challenge by becoming a leader, joining the men on boards of directors, finding her way to emerge in her own sense of power and influence.

In last week’s obituary on the front page of the Cincinnati Enquirer Metro section, Jorja Fleezanis, violin professor in Bloomington, Indiana and founding concertmaster of the Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra in the 1970s, said she was “one of the great missionaries of the arts. You couldn’t say no to Florence. It was one of her greatest traits.” The Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra was a “cottage industry,” Fleezanis said, before Florence helped set up its board of directors, obtained donors, promoted and arranged performances and even sold tickets.

How did she know how to do these things? Clearly, she was a self-taught person with an instinct for understanding organizational structure and the necessity of fundraising to sustain long-term growth of any organization. She was a natural leader, confident, gutsy, with a keen strategic mind. She was a get-things-done kind of woman Custom Tattoo Machines, the volunteer extraordinaire that any organization dreams to have working on their behalf.

Last week, Florence assured the doctor that she wanted them to do all they could to resuscitate her. At that moment, I realized that my mother-in-law at age 94 and a half was happy. Despite gasping for breaths and being in pain Tattoo Ink Supplies, she continued enjoying her day-to-day life — enough so that she wanted to stay on for a while longer. What a gift — to know that one could feel that way up until your final days. Thank you Florence. We will miss you and your legacy will remain in our hearts.

Romney’s View on Gay Marriage Not Evolving

Image credit: Jae C. Hong/AP Photo

FORT LUPTON, Colo. – Mitt Romney’s view on same-sex marriage isn’t evolving at all. He told a local reporter here today that domestic partnership benefits — including hospital visitation rights– are “appropriate, but that the others are not.”

“Well when these issues were raised in my state of Massachusetts, I indicated my view, which is I do not favor marriage between people of the same gender, and I do not favor civil unions if they are identical to marriage other than by name,” Romney told a Fox News affiliate, KDVR-TV Christian Audigier Clothes sale, in an interview before a campaign event, his first in the state since he lost the GOP state primary in February.

When one reporter asked if he had any comment on the administration and gay marriage, which during recent days has seen Vice President Vice President Joe Biden and Education Secretary Arne Duncan endorse gay marriage and has led the administration to defend the president’s position as “still evolving” when it comes to gay marriage, Romney wouldn’t answer.

“Not on the rope line,” Romney said Herve Leger sale, before grabbing a Romney for President poster to sign for a supporter.

REPORTSpyker stock soars on word of Saab sale reco

Here’s the skinny: Saab isn’t totally dead yet. As the weekend showed, there’s (a little) hope for both Saab and its Dutch suitor, Spyker. As our man Ramsey laid out yesterday, Spyker submitted a renewed eleven-point plan to General Motors that they (Spyker) hopes will allow them to take ownership of the deeply troubled brand. And yes, being pronounced dead four days ago counts as “deeply troubled.” As Swedish Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt pointed out Replica Bandage dresses, all this dead/not dead uncertainty has been throwing Saab employees Cheap Bandage dresses, “between hope and despair.”

Meanwhile, a (perhaps) unintended consequence of Spyker’s eleventh hour rebid is that their stock has soared up 23.5 percent. Now, as some of you well know, Spyker isn’t very big. They sold just forty-three cars last year and their market cap was just 26.6 million euros before the stock shot up. Still, if Spyker plays their cards right Cheap Karen Millen Dresses, this spike in value could have long term benefits, but only if they secure a deal for Saab.

Says one anonymous analyst to Reuters, “The stock’s value is close to nothing but if they succeed to buy Saab, invest Cheap Emilio Pucci Dresses, and turn the company around then the shares can become valuable.” Trouble is, GM only has until 5:00 pm EST today to sell Saab. For we’re not sure why Buy Christian Audigier Clothing, but Spyker is making this a very limited time offer. If we had to guess, it’s in order to force a deal. For its part, General Motors is “reviewing several new expressions of interest” for Saab, one of which according to Saabs United is Merbanco.

Should the Spyker deal (and all other deals) fall through, 3,400 Swedish workers will lose their jobs, and the 1 Cheap DKNY Clothes,100 Saab dealerships worldwide will be forced to shutter. The Swedish government is in crisis talks with Saab officials right now should such a worst case scenario transpire. As for now, the Saab remains the same – i.e. mostly dead. One last thing, here’s an interesting reflection on the demise of Saab by AB pal Jack Baruth.

The Computer Is Flat

Steve Jobs

Today Versace Replica Watches, the Financial Times reported that Apple is planning to release a tablet computer as soon as this September. According to the report, the tablet PC will probably be a larger version of the iPod Touch—a touch-sensitive machine with a screen as big as 10 inches diagonally. Steve Jobs and co. must have been listening to Farhad Manjoo: Back in December, he urged Apple to make “a flat-panel, touch-screen tablet that can do photos, music, movies, e-mail, games, and full-function Web browsing.” The original piece is reprinted below.

There isn’t much mystery to why a little-marketed computer known as the Eee PC has lately seized the top spot on Amazon’s laptop best-seller list. The machine, a three-pound ugly duckling made by the Taiwanese company Asus, has a 10-inch screen, a nearly full-size keyboard, and offers what almost everyone wants in a portable computer: It’s tiny and, at $390, very cheap. Of course, the Eee PC is missing some other things people tend to like in laptops—an attractive design, a DVD drive, a fully full-size keyboard, and enough processing power to run multiple demanding applications at the same time. But hey, these are tough times, and did I mention you can buy this machine for less than you’re planning to blow on New Year’s Eve?

Minimalism pervades Amazon’s laptop list; over the last few weeks, the great majority of the 25 best-seller slots have been occupied by various permutations of the Eee PC and other souped-down Replica Longines Watches, sub-$500 machines. In the computer industry, these miniature computers are known as “netbooks.” The term is vaguely defined, but the best way to spot a netbook is to peek at the specs: Today’s bigger laptops run on Intel’s speedy Core 2 Duo processor, while netbooks use a smaller, less powerful, and cheaper Intel chip, the Atom. Netbooks also run older or more lightweight operating systems—generally Windows XP or some flavor of Linux.

PC companies are looking to these machines in much the same way John McCain once looked to the governor of Alaska—as an easy way to put a fresh face on an otherwise aging product line. Asus took an early lead in the category, but in 2008 nearly every major PC maker put out a netbook or two, including Dell, HP How to buy Replica Breitling Watches, and Lenovo. New netbooks will dominate CES Replica Patek Philippe Watches, the consumer electronics trade show in Las Vegas next week, and completely unsubstantiated rumors have it that a netbook will also debut at MacWorld, the Apple-centric confab that starts Monday in San Francisco. It’s still unclear whether this season’s sales represent a trend or a fad—netbooks offer a user experience that’s far from perfect, and buyers may well come to regret their chintzy purchases and vow to pay full-fare next time. Netbooks’ rise could also end badly for the PC industry. As a Sony exec predicted this year Discount Replica Audemars Piguet Watches, cheap machines may spark a pricing “race to the bottom,” further shrinking PC makers’ already squeezed profit margins.

But netbook sales suggest pent-up demand for the kind of machine that no company has yet perfected—a machine that I predict could make for the next PC boom. At the moment, the laptop market is dominated by two kinds of machines: a bunch of cheap netbooks that don’t do much, and a bunch of expensive Apple notebooks that do a lot and do it very well. (Seven of the top 25 best-selling laptops on Amazon are MacBooks.) Consumers are fleeing the middle range, which seems to make sense—if you want a laptop to surf the Web Replica Philip Stein Watches sale, why spend $800 on a machine that runs Windows Vista when you can spend $400 on a machine than runs the more highly regarded Windows XP? On the other hand, if you want a laptop to use as your main computer, why spend $800 for a machine that runs Windows Vista when you can spend $1,000 for a virus-free, hassle-free system that runs the Mac OS (and can also run Windows)?
